Fancy Nancy's Butterfly Tea Party at Texas Discovery Gardens

Celebrate Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser's book, "Fancy Nancy: Bonjour Butterfly" with a tea party at Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park. The event features Fancy Nancy-themed activities, tea, snacks, and a butterfly release. 

There are three tea party dates throughout the summer; June 28, July 26, and August 23. Each tea party is from 10:30 to 12:30. Tickets for each date are available online and range from $6 to $12 depending on the guest's age and membership status.

Free Sprinkles Cupcakes for Father's Day and National Forgiveness Day

Sprinkles Cupcakes and DreamWorks are promoting the June 29th debut of "People  Like Us" with a free cupcake for anyone who walks into a Sprinkles location between noon and 2 p.m. on Father's Day and says "People Like Us." The sweet promotion is also valid on National Forgiveness Day, June 26.

Watch 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' at Outdoor Movie Screening June 17

This Father's Day, the Oak Cliff Film Festival and Dallas Zoo present an outdoor screening of "Fantastic Mr. Fox" in the big cats area of the zoo. Based on a novel by Roald Dahl, the 2009 animated film features the voices of stars such as George Clooney, Meryl Streep, and Owen Wilson.
